REST
148/300
Hi love, how are you? How was the last week for you? Welcome aboard, I hope you find hope, happiness and peace here.
First and foremost, I’d like to salute anyone that identifies as an adult right now. Y’all are the VIP because what is this?
I’ve started taking some responsibilities and sometimes I feel like disappearing from my own body!
I understand that we all have gotten used to the hustle and bustle of this current world, I know that whenever we want to rest that voice reminds you of the bills you have to pay; but my love REST!
I wouldn’t lie to you, there are days that I tell my mummy to rest home for a week or more and I’d manage her shop for her because I know how stressful working is, especially in my mom’s shop.
I love my dad a lot because my guy knows when to rest and trust me, he rests with all diligence. He takes sleeping pills, locks his door and sleep!
Adulting isn’t for the weak guys! Sometimes, I see my guys that have started taking full responsibilities calculate and I wish I could help them or something but I’ve got my own scores to settle too. If you are a full time adult, you are strong fr!
Take time to unwind, de-stress, rest, sleep, do fun stuff and so forth. Working non stop takes a toll on our body and mind, doing fun stuff helps a lot.
Don’t be shy to do some fun stuff even if they look very childish. One time, I was really stressed and the only thing I could think of was to just stand under the rain and I wouldn’t lie to you, it really helped. I felt better after then and I was able to sleep soundly
Thic Nhat Hanh said “It’s very important that we re-learn the art of resting and relaxing. Not only does it help prevent the onset of many illnesses that develop through chronic tension and worrying; it allows us to clear our minds, focus, and find creative solutions to problems”
Try to rest loves, my love.
Until tomorrow, bye.
