Hi love, how are you? Welcome aboard, I hope you find hope, happiness and peace here.

I love prayers some much and I think I can trace that love to the fact that my parents involved everyone in prayers when we were very young.

We had daily morning devotions in the house and my father could call on anybody to lead prayers and you dare not mess up because you’d be beaten or punished. While that isn’t the best way to train a child to pray, it worked for mr because it built a foundation of prayers in my life.

Another reason I love prayers is because of the distinctly different ways my parents prayed. My father grew up in an Anglican Church, attended The Celestial church for a while and both doctrines are evident in his prayers; amazing stuff if you ask me. My mother who had a Muslim background(but now Christian) prayed in a different way that I totally enjoy.

They both made me love prayers so much.

Growing up I loved being called to pray because I know that I love to pray, ask things from God and tell things to God but above that I love to call God sweet names. As an adult, you would find me praising God 100 times before you find me make a request.

“Oluwa e seun”

“Kaii, Good God”

“Omo, God is a good good Father” and so forth are never far from my lips and on days when I cannot speak, they are always on my heart.

Growing up, I began to see people who centered their prayers around their enemies and it is so strange to me because my parents barely prayed about enemies and whenever they did, they were referring to the devil. Seeing people pray long hours against their enemies was so strange to me.

I really believe that if the basis of your prayer is an enemy or you only call upon God in the days of adversity, you are not a child of God.

Oh, the Lord does save a man in the days of his adversity. The Lord fights a man’s enemy for him but I don’t think it’s right for a man to reduce his communication with God to these alone.

There are beautiful affairs that you can have with God in the place of prayers, there are are amazing things He can tell you and you choose to only go to him with the prayer of him killing youe enemy?

Prayer should be a moment of communion between you and God and I see no reasons you should not enjoy every single moment of it.
